Forest School



The chance for your kids to Go Wild! at Cuerden this year. Further Forest School dates for the summer holidays have now been finalised.  We will be playing games, making dens and shelters, having a camp fire with tasty treats, exploring the wonderful nature in the Park and making things out of wood and other natural materials. The sessions are being run this year by Simon Moorhouse, who will be bringing extra activities that we have not been able to offer previously. Check out his website at
£20 per child, ages 5-11. the day starts at 10.00am and ends at 3.00pm.

NEW FOR 2018!
Over 10’s Dangerous Day – Thursday 16th August 10.00am to 3.00pm
We are introducing an opportunity for 10 to 15 year olds to enjoy Forest School. The over 10’s Dangerous Day will introduce older children to woodcraft skills and activities including amongst others the safe making of camp fires, knife craft, survival eating, dens and woodland crafts. Please ensure that children are correctly attired for the outdoors (suitable footwear or wellies and waterproofs) and that they bring along a packed lunch and refreshments.
