  1. Myself and 2 children age 7 & 5 attended the stickman event on Monday 16th Feb, the children had a fabulous time listening to the story of the stick man and then recreating the parts of the story with members of the cuerden valley team. They enjoyed making bow and arrows, the principles of fire building, making fun sand castles, stick throwing/fetching, best building and finally playing pooh sticks off the bridge, the kids had an absolute ball! Thank you

    • Thanks for the feedback! Glad everybody enjoyed the day – don’t forget to keep an eye out for our other children’s events later in the year. All are detailed on the ‘What’s On’ tab.

  2. Cuerden Valley hosts the best Parkrun in the country every saturday morning at 9 am. It’s a free 5k event, non-competitive for all abilities – and is the friendliest around! The park looks magnificent and it’s the perfect backdrop. Give it a try!

  3. my son attended the summer camp he loved it, he had a fantastic time outside came home muddy and tired as boys should. the summer camp is a great idea to entertain kids 5-11 yrs in the great outdoors with plenty of woodland activities and at £20 a day it was great value too. hope theres more to follow and thanks

    • Really appreciate the feedback! This was the first time we have run it and everybody seemed to have a great time – I know all our staff and volunteers did! We will be running it again during school holidays so keep your eyes on the website for details and don’t forget to tell all your friends.
